Some obvious problems with trading. To be honest its probably the worst trading system I've ever seen in a game. No way to guarantee the other follows through with their part. It's also a major inconvenience to be able to lose pokemon through a mistake in copying down codes. Even if you do get a trustable partner, and manage to copy down codes correctly, problems from the database can even prevent you from successfully retrieving pokemon.
Also, there's no way to communicate with others in-game, meaning that you've left people to use 3rd party sites and programs to advertise their pokemon, which is another big inconvenience, especially since NG also has a horrible system for communication (ie reviews being turned into trade notices).
Believe or not, right now your trade system discourages trading.
Loved it, it's always the pixel games that become quite deep.
Also loved the use of music.
And there isn't a way to beat this game, despite what people keep thinking. The endings are all quite sad, each with little moments to enjoy. This really is an action and reaction type of game, where there's just a goal and many other obstacles to make you think if that goal is really worth it in the end.
Instead of complaining why there isn't a replay button, try to think why he made it unreplayable instead. Personally I think it becomes more than just a game if there isn't a replay feature, making the choices you make the first time actually more meaningful. But, hey, that's just me.
I remember watching this for the first time when it came out, especially because I had to re-watch it several more times just for me to fully soak in its greatness. Its been pretty much a year and a half, and I still feel the need to watch these episodes.
I remember that this came out during California's proposition 8, the measure against gay marriage, where everyone saw this as the ultimate example of "love is love". I was disappointed that so many people were missing the real message behind the story. At least for me, the story meant more of "if you love someone, don't ever let society change or prevent that love" than a "love is love, no matter the gender, race, etc."
And I'll stop the history lesson there. I'll be looking forward to any works from SamBakZa in the future.
Skirmish gets way too easy sometimes. Just secure a position and slowly take over over stars. You might want to consider adding more options other than "free for all" and "take over every star". The graphics itself are fine, but undetailed. Another suggestion would be more stars, but I really cant think of another at the moment. Other than that, a campaign would be great.
Btw, it wasn't until losing a second time until I noticed the ships and economy thinks on the top left, you might want to point that out in the tutorial.
Great game, I used to guess on the first one and memorize the correct spaces. Now I actually realize how much you have to think to actually win without losing. It's risky, but I make smart guesses until I only have 1 mistake left. Then finish up the puzzle from what's left. (That is if I don't click apiece accidentally btw)
The music was a great touch. Kept making me want to go back and play it some more. The blue background was great, but you might want to make it customizable. I'm just going to say that not all the puzzles are from easiest to hardest. I know it's practically impossible to actually do that, but it isn't anything you have to fix. Either that, or some just seemed easier to me. Other than that, it was perfect.
Keep up the work! I would definitely support this game if I had a credit card!
The graphics were fine but there were some serious flaws. It wasn't that hard and was seriously simple due to the fact that they came from only 3 places. Hopefully, this'll evolve into something great like a mini time crisis
The only thing wrong in the game was the preloader when the stingray nails Steve in the back. The game was ok for something made in 1-2 days. There was nothing sick mentioned or said in the flash. People should relax, Steve was a good person and loved animals and the author didn't mean to spit on his grave. You people are over analyzing this game way too much. It's like your looking at one spot of the message, and not the rest. I know Steve or anyone of his family members wouldn't approve of this but this game is just making the situation lighter with a little bit of humor. Besides many of the people trashing this submission haven't watched that many "Crocodile Hunter" episodes or a big fan of Steve. Pretty soon many of you are even going to forget about his death. Enough ranting, R.I.P Steve. Feel sorry for his wife and kids.
It was pretty easy. I don't know if 25957 is good.
Anyway it was fun, kinda of adicting. Overall it was a good waste of my time, it's simple and distracting like a monkey staring at someting shiny. The controls at first felt akward, but easy to use once you play like 3-4 minutes into it. Good Job!

Great game, major Flaws

Other than that, it's a pretty addicting TD.

Genius
Man, I didn't know until now how dynamic the space bar button was, until now. I think I'm gonna use it to write the rest of this review.

Good point about the stats on the top, I'll mention it in the tutorial.

Alright Game, Nothing that disturbing...

It's pretty good
There are still some bugs in it, but i dont mind because it's in beta...
(1) Theres some loading problems where it never stops saying "loading"
(2) It's pretty repititive untill u get the stinger MaW
(3) Some stats where the first stat point looks like it decreases instead of increasing
Overall its a really good game and I highly recommend that u dont give a low score if u cant play it. Plus its pointless unless u make an account
